Making the switch to original content is very necessary if you want your blog to have a higher search engine ranking. If you're not original, then you're just spinning your wheels. You need to write original content if you want people to take you seriously. People who read other people's work tend to think that the writer must be a great writer or at least an educated writer. Even the best article directories are affected by this and it's no wonder why.
The thing about writing original content is that it shows respect for your readers and it shows them that you care about what they have to say. When people read something with original content in it, they tend to remember it and they tend to ask for more of the same. If you want people to come back to your blog posts or your website, then you need to be original and give them something new and interesting. That's just how it works. If your readers can't find something valuable in your blog posts, then they won't bother coming back - ever. This is what I'm talking about. Harvard Business Review did a study on seven websites that offer great content. Seven out of the eight blogs posted on the Harvard Business Review were not written by people who are native English speakers. Only one was written by an individual who was a native English speaker. In fact, only one person out of these eight bloggers was a native English speaker who actually made the decision to post their content site. The rest were either hired ghostwriters or copywriters from other sites who are trying to make a name for themselves. It's amazing that such a huge publishing company like Harvard Business Review would conduct such research. There are way too many other things going on in their world that they couldn't possibly be conducting studies like that. However, they do make it clear that they are aware of how important good original content is and that people who post original content are far more likely to make money than those who don't. This is why you need to post original content every single day on your blog. The best way to create original content is to write articles, which is what you will be doing throughout the course of your writing career. However, even if you're just using article marketing to promote your site, it still needs to be done on a regular basis in order to maintain your readership. So how can you start providing original content on a regular basis? You'll want to start with an article marketing campaign. If you're not familiar with this type of campaign, you can always hire a ghostwriter to write the articles for you. For most people, hiring a writer is too expensive, so it's definitely something to consider if you want to keep your business on track. Now that you've got your article marketing campaign up and running, you need to start driving traffic to your blog. The best way to do this is by writing and publishing useful articles related to your niche. Remember to put a resource box at the bottom of your article, which will allow readers to get to your website. The more useful your articles are, the more people will be interested in reading them. Once your articles are getting a lot of attention from the right sources, it's time to start promoting them. One of the best ways to do this is through social media. Start following and talking to people in your niche, and you can use their Twitter or Facebook profiles to post your content. You can also use forums and blogs dedicated to your niche as well. Just be sure to put a link to your blog at the end of each post!
